Android downloads you can actually trust
We install and test every app and game we list, publish the real file size and checksum, and point only at official download sources.
APKUK started with a simple frustration: most Android download pages are dishonest. They hide the file size, promise "modded" versions, and bury you in pop-ups before you reach a link. We built the site we wanted to use instead.
Every app and game on this site is installed on real hardware and used for long enough to notice the flaws. We publish the version we tested, the file size, the licence and, wherever the developer provides it, the SHA-256 checksum. When a download stops working we hide it, and when an app adds adverts to a previously clean experience we say so.

Tested on hardware, not on press releases
We test on a current Pixel, a two-year-old mid-range phone and an older budget device. If something only works well on flagship hardware, we tell you. A recommendation that only holds on a brand-new phone is not much of a recommendation.
